You may encounter an error when installing some of the components on AX. The error message will read:
The AOS ‘<server>@<port>’ cannot be reached. Setup cannot continue. Verify that you are entering the correct server information and that the AOS service is running.
This can be caused by a number of reason:
- AOS is not running.
- Firewall is blocking communication to the AOS.
- Incorrect information is entered.
If none of the above are the issue then you should consider the following:
This error message will be returned if the system service accounts, setup in AX, for the business connector proxy, is blank or setup to an account that does not exist.
